Whether you are a local resident or are visiting Guernsey on vacation, you'll find a warm welcome at our little Meeting House every Sunday from 10am until 11am. We sit quietly together for an hour of gathered stillness, with occasional spoken ministry if anyone feels deeply moved. We call this 'meeting for worship.'
In 1992, membership had dwindled to the point where Roy Harding, a member for 40 years, found himself sat there alone most Sundays until back problems prevented him from continuing. What might have been the ending became a new beginning, and an upsurge in attendance through the nineties led to the revival and renovation of the Meeting House in 1999. An appeal for donations raised more than we could have ever hoped for, with enough money left over from the building work to pay for a handsome set of well designed Danish chairs. Our congregation now averages around eight lively friends each week, and you are very welcome to join us.
